Event Registration Policy
The Western Ohio Chapter of ASTD is pleased to offer the convenience of online registration and payment to our members and to the participants at our conferences and workshops. Please read this policy statement carefully to understand your responsibilities and rights. Thank you. Registration Fees:
We strongly prefer that you pay your registration fees online. We are now offering secure online payments through one of the industry's leading firms - PayPal. You may pay with any one of these credit cards: "No Risk" Online Payment Policy:
In order to encourage online payments for chapter events, if you prepay for a monthly meeting online and you later find that cannot attend that meeting, we will refund your full payment if you notify us at least 24 hours in advance. If you cannot give advance notice, we will be happy to apply your payment to a future meeting. Cancellations and Refunds:
If you cannot attend a workshop, seminar or conference and cannot find someone to take your place, the Western Ohio Chapter of ASTD will give you a complete refund, provided that you cancel within the time frames specified below. Otherwise, you will be charged the entire fee. (As noted above, if you pay online and do not cancel in the times specified, we will apply your payment to a future meeting.) Tax Deductions:
Don't forget that training taken to maintain or improve professional skills is usually tax-deductible. Consult your tax advisor for applicability.
