Member Involvement Opportunities

As a member, you are invited to become part of the WOCASTD team. These teams meet on a regular basis to help our chapter flourish and grow. If you are interested in helping in any of these areas, please contact our Membership VP.

Web Site - Interested in the internet? Want to learn more? The WOCASTD website can help you to bring out the webmaster in you.

Membership - Are you a people person? Do you network in your sleep? How about being a part of our new "Membership Ambassador Team". As an ambassador you will serve as an extension of the chapter's board and the membership director. Various tasks include, greeting members and guests at the monthly meetings, contacting the membership to request feedback about the chapter, attracting new members, coordinating new member orientations, and assisting with the publishing of the yearly directory.

Monthly Program Planning - Do you keep up on training and performance trends? Are you looking for an opportunity to present your ideas to a captive audience. If so, then you can help our chapter to develop and deliver monthly programs that are timely, interesting, and contribute to the development of our membership.

Volunteer at Large - Would you like to help but your time is limited? Do you have an interest in one of the specific opportunities listed above? Please contact our Involvement Coordinator to let us know what time you do have available and what your interests are. We will help ensure you are able to help in a way that is meaningful for you and fits your schedule.

Position Referral - Are you connected in greater Dayton? Help tap into the hidden job market for employees and potential employees by working with our position referral program.

Community Relations - Marketing - Is public relations your forte? Does marketing seem second nature to you? Assist in developing partnerships with local professional organizations and associations. Or help in developing and implementing the chapter marketing plan. You can be an integral part in ensuring that the Dayton community is aware of the benefits and services our organization has to offer.

Special Events - Do you have event planning skills? Over the next year, we will have lots of opportunities for you to put your skills to work.
